Montenegro,
despite its small size, has got very rich and varied relief. More than half of the country lies at an altitude of 1000 m, a special seal is provided by a wide and diversified over two hundred miles of seashore.Skadar Lake. It is the largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula and lies on the border between Albania and Montenegro. Montenegrin side of the lake is part of the national park, as the area is home to over 30 species of fish and about 270 species of birds. Among other things, this is an important refuge for pelicans. Overgrown shores of Lake are not the most suitable for mass tourism. So enjoy driving boats or smaller ships dedicated to the observation of nature, fishing etc.

The most famous tourist city is Budva, which is why also boasts the highest prices. The most attractive part of Budva is the old medieval part where the bulwarks winding narrow streets which are lined with cafés. The most attractive beaches are located in the surroundings of the former island of Sveti Stefan. Prestigious hotel complex arranged in an old fishing village attracts views from the main coastal road. Unfortunately the island is accessible only to the wealthiest, because it costs from 900 euros upwards for a night www.amanresorts.com/amansvetistefan/home.aspx

For this price beside staying in an peaceful idyllic location you get all the expected amenities and first-class catering. It is a privilage to stay at such a unique resort. Scenery is breathtaking, living in old stone – made village like a dream. Everything is just perfect and I cant imagine what could be better. It takes some time to get known all the paths on the island but it is always interesting to see some new houses. Restaurants with the sea view are very temptating as well as the food, wine and cocktails. All 3 beaches on the mainland are nice especialy with comfortable chairs – but if you are not a hotel guest, the price is 50-75 eur! The island, which is connected by a stone bridge, can be visited when there are not to many guests. By prior booking for lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants where prices are not exaggerated.

I was most impressed Hercegnovska Riviera, which consists of high mountains under the headlands, islands, beaches and small bays. Tivat does not feature many historic attractions. But it is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding bays. Here I found one of niciest hostels - Anton www.hostelanton.com In fact, it is a pleasant family hotel runing by a young couple. Both are musicians so it is no wonder that there are held numerous musical events.
